About
Our Story
Hi, I'm a computer scientist with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and more importantly, I'm a dad to five amazing kids ages 2 through 10.
This course was born from a beautiful moment in our homeschool journey. When my 7-year-old heard the inspiring story of Blessed Carlos Acutis - the young patron saint of the internet who used technology to spread faith - he was captivated. He came to me with bright eyes saying he wanted to start making websites of his own, just like Carlos did.
There was just one problem: he knew nothing about computers, and my wife, who teaches our kids during the day, didn't have a computer science background to guide him.
I realized there was a huge gap - no good curriculum existed for parents without CS degrees to teach their children programming. So I created this Scratch course specifically for families like ours.
I've successfully used this curriculum to teach my 10, 8, 7, and 5-year-olds (my 2-year-old is still working on talking!). It's designed so that any parent can confidently guide their child through learning to code, no technical background required.
This isn't just another coding course - it's a parent-tested, kid-approved pathway to help your children discover the joy of creating with technology, just like young Carlos Acutis did.
