Why I Created This Course

When my 7-year-old became fascinated with the story of Carlo Acutis—the young programmer who used technology to spread faith and help others—I knew I wanted to nurture that same creative spirit in my child.

But as I searched for programming resources, I discovered a frustrating gap: there simply wasn't a curriculum designed for parents and young children to learn programming together. Everything was either aimed at kids learning independently online, or assumed the parent already knew how to code.

Most parents want to be involved in their child's learning journey, especially with something as important as technology. Yet the programming education world seemed to have forgotten about families who wanted to discover coding side by side.

So I did what any determined parent would do—I created my own solution.

Drawing on my computer science background, I designed this 28-week course specifically for parent-child learning teams. Every lesson includes clear explanations for parents (no prior coding experience required), step-by-step guidance that keeps you learning together, and activities that make both parent and child feel like discoverers rather than just teacher and student.

This isn't about parents becoming programming tutors—it's about families embarking on a creative learning adventure together, where curiosity and problem-solving become shared experiences.

What started as filling a gap for my own 5 children became a resource for any family ready to explore the amazing world of programming together.
